Design and manage the information systems, as well as analyse and track data
needed to implement the Bank’s strategy and facilitate business operations and decision-making.
Reports to: Financial Planning and Analytics Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate systems and procedures for the
collection, maintenance, and integrity of business data in CIB. - Support the development of quality assurance mechanisms within the MIS
team and support the Executive Director in developing and maintaining
systems and procedures to ensure the integrity of data to satisfy the audits. - Generate comprehensive and well-analyzed reports on bank business
operations across business functions and departments as requested by
management. - Collect, calculate, and check information from various data sources to devise
solutions, design systems, and implement information management processes. - Cooperate and communicate with staff across departments to explain and
assist in the integration of information management and data communication
systems. - Support business managers in preparation of business cases, in particular, being
responsible for financial modelling and analysis contained therein. - Recommend methods and technology derived from the gathered data to
maximize the efficiency of business operations and project implementation. - Maintain security administration of the MIS system and assign local domain
log-in profiles and passwords for staff as necessary. - Develop MIS process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Design and implement branch scorecards, customer net promoter scores,
and relationship managers’ performance scorecards in order to drive a
performance culture within the Bank. - Ensure that all MI processes are prepared and disseminated with
functions/business according to agreed service level agreements. - Understand specific business requirements and design/develop solutions to
implement the desired changes. - Automate financial reporting reports in a format agreed to with the financial
controller/CFO. - Play a key role in the rollout of new Banking software to ensure that all MIS needs
are addressed by the business.
Education.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a reputable University
Experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience.
- Experience with database and data analysis technology
- Proficient with SQL (Oracle, MS SQL MySQL)
