Role purpose: To create value on Telecel Ghana’s mobile voice services, drive mobile revenue, grow customers (acquisition, upsell, retention) and drive usage.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
– Achieve Subscriber and Revenue targets for Mobile voice and implement strategies to achieve the targets
– Work closely with the product and services team to derive maximum value along the product life cycle
– Identifying market trends, Evaluation, and selection of products for future roadmap
– Drive major voice KPIs (Customer, usage, revenue)
– Grow voice Penetration to desirable levels according to business objectives
– Coordinate business activities on National roaming to drive maximum revenue impact
– Generate regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to monitor KPIs performance and offer insights for decision making
– Conduct in-depth and complex analysis to understand customer behaviour along the product life cycle
– Monitor the pre- and post-launch performance of products in relation to generated revenue and customer satisfaction.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
– Excellent commercial knowledge in identifying growth opportunities and maximising customer value
– Good experience in product management and strategic planning.
– Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels (internal and external)
– Strong knowledge on Telecommunications systems to be able to come up with innovative products
– Strong business acumen, with experience driving business performance and KPIs
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills maintaining high accuracy with attention to details.
– Significant leadership experience and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
– University Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Business Administration / Marketing or any relevant field
– 2-5 years of experience in the Telecommunications or the ICT industry
– Other Marketing or Product Management certifications will be an added advantage
– Possess very good reporting skills. – Easy use of software such as Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, MS WORD, and MS POWERPOINT, etc.
– Proficiency in other SQL will be a huge advantage
– Strong analytical skills and ability to model data, clean data, build business cases, data models and projections, draw insights from data trends etc.
