- Support the ddevelopment and implementation targeted digital media strategies and manage UNICEF Ghana’s digital platforms with UNICEF Ghana digital officer.
- Create engaging content by converting complex technical information into visual narratives.
- Contribute to UNICEF’s strategic communications plan and outreach strategy.
- Share the latest digital communication trends and advise the team on how to effectively share ideas, experiences, and achievements.
- Design and execute targeted social media campaigns.
- Fact-check and proofread social media content.
- Create graphics and videos using design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video production tools (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects).
- Support U-Report youth engagement, youth advocacy, and website maintenance.
- Filing and organizing photos onto UNICEF WeShare photo system
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in in communication studies, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field is required
*A first University Degree in a relevant field combined with 2 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree. - A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in with international organizations in a similar capacity
- Outstanding digital content creation
- Experience in Photography and videography is required
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
