BAVI is seeking a dedicated and experienced instructor for our National Certificate in Cosmetology and Beauty Therapy (NCCB) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering hands-on, practical instruction in cosmetology and beauty care, ensuring students are well-prepared for careers in the beauty industry.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teach and assess learners in line with the UVTAB Standards/Modulars.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.
• Deliver both theoretical and practical training in areas such as hairdressing, skin care, nail technology, and general grooming.
• Supervise and mentor students during practical sessions and field attachments.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Participate in curriculum development and review.
• Promote safe working habits and hygiene standards in the training environment.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• A Diploma in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A Teaching qualification (e.g., Diploma in Education or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• At least two (2) years of progressively responsible experience teaching or training in a vocational or institutional setting.
• Familiarity with the UVTAB Standards/Modulars is preferred.
