Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our organization’s computer networks and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and manage network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and WLANs.
- Configure and manage VLANs to segment network traffic and improve security
- Work closely with other IT team members to support and improve overall IT infrastructure.
- Network management, access control and administration
- Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention, and other security infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configuration
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Generate reports on network performance and security incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional Certification in CCNA certification, N+ or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with a deep understanding of network protocols, network security, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with firewall configuration and management.
- Proven experience with VLAN configuration and management.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches.
- Syspro knowledge will be a definite advantage
