The Route Network Performance Executive is a key member of the Commercial department at Uganda Airlines, responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing the airline’s route network performance. This role supports the achievement of commercial targets by providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance route profitability and efficiency.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze the performance of all routes within the Uganda Airlines network, focusing on revenue, load factor, yield, and market share.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on route performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to recommend adjustments to route schedules, capacity, and pricing strategies.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to benchmark Uganda Airlines’ route network and identify growth opportunities.
- Participate in route evaluation projects, supporting the launch of new routes or the adjustment of existing ones based on performance data.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align network performance objectives and support commercial initiatives.
- Support the Revenue Management Manager in preparing presentations and reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies in all route network analysis and recommendations.

- Timeliness and accuracy of performance reports

- Contribution to successful route launches or modifications
Qualification, Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Aviation Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial aviation, network planning, or revenue management (preferred)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and data visualization tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment
- Knowledge of airline industry trends and network planning best practices
