Cargo Train (CT) is a leading transport and logistics company operating between Malawi and South Africa. We pride ourselves on providing reliable and efficient logistics solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a dynamic and versatile Operations Officer who will also serve as a Sales Person to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee day-to-day operations of the logistics and transport activities.
-Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods between Malawi and South Africa.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
-Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base.
-Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
-Prepare and manage logistics documentation.
-Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Proven experience in logistics operations and sales.
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
