Your duties will include but are not limited to the following: 

• Conduct prestart checks of the Machine before commencing work
• Ensure the equipment is kept clean in all its interior and exterior components.
• Ensure the Machine is refueled in each shift.
• Hauling material
• Work under the supervision of shift supervisors to maintain site safety standards
• Report all defects on the Machine to the maintenance and mine dispatch section.
• Carry out any other adhoc production related requests, as necessary.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Must be certified to operate Haul Trucks in the category of Hitachi 4500/5000, Komatsu 930E/960, or Liebherr T284 Rigid Dump Trucks.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in the mining industry
• Must have sound Knowledge of safe working procedures and mine operations
• Must be able to pass psychometric/ Dover Tests
• Should poses certificates of competence in operating Mining Haul Trucks
• Holder of Class C driving license is an added advantage
