SPIE Global Services Energy Ghana Limited is looking for Plant Operators to join its workforce ONSHORE in GHANA !
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Onshore Receiving Facility (ORF), ensuring all processes comply with the client’s operational standards, HSE policies, and regulatory requirements. The role includes monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing process systems to maintain operational integrity and achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respect and apply QHSSE rules and procedures.
- Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental and operational regulations.
- Monitors and ensures the proper operation of equipment in the installations.
- Ensure production targets are met by optimizing equipment performance and process efficiency.
- Perform routine and scheduled start-up, shutdown, and isolation activities.
- Performs Plant inspections (Checking of any leak, Safety Equipment checks, checking of rotating equipments condition …)
- Performs jobs as per Control Room requirements including the re-setting of valves/ *operating parameters* for restarting after a shutdown
- Diagnose and troubleshoot process upsets or equipment malfunctions, implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Suggests improvements and requests modifications if Operating Procedures are not satisfactory.
- Takes Field Parameters Readings (DCS, Separators….)
Profile
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Process Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
Minimun 2 Years of experience in oil & gas operations, preferably in an ORF or similar onshore facility.
Hands-on experience with oil & gas separation, export systems, and utility systems.
