Job Purpose.
Oven Team Leader a Biscuit Oven Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily
operations of a production line within a biscuit manufacturing facility. He leads a team of
Oven Operators, manages the production process, and maintains a safe and hygienic work
environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• He is also responsible for leading and motivating their team, responsible of managing
production schedules, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
• Monitoring team performance and providing feedback
• Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow, and schedule.
• Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent production
delays.
• Schedule routine inspection and maintenance of the production line to prevent
equipment breakdowns and malfunctioning.
• Identifying and resolving production issues, such as equipment malfunctions or
quality problems.
• Overseeing quality control throughout the process Line.
• Ensure safety measures and procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents
and hazards.
• Ensure the production processes are carried out in accordance with company policies
and procedures.
• Ensuring all production processes are completed before deadlines.
• Updating the food Controller on the status of production processes.
• Liaising and coordinating production with other sections.
• Overseeing the setup and operation of production equipment.
• Monitoring production processes and adjusting as needed.
• Communicating daily objectives, performance updates, and important information to
the team.
• Completing Production process control documentation, recording material usage,
and maintaining accurate records.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Diploma, in mechanical, Electrical, electronics or similar.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
• The ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to identify and resolve production issues.
• Knowledge of biscuit production processes, machinery, and equipment.
• Understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Previous experience working in a related industry preferred.
• Ability to supervise production teams confidently and proactively.
• Exceptional analytical ability toward solving Production-related concerns.
• Availability of working extended hours to meet deadlines, when necessary.
