Job description

We have a vision: To give everyone easy access to anything in their cities. And this is where your ride starts.

YOUR MISSION

At Glovo, we’re dedicated to transforming the delivery market across AFRICA by delivering exceptional service to our clients. We aim to bring the most trendy products from local businesses to our customers in less than 30 minutes. As a local Partner Operations Analyst focused on Uganda, you will play a vital role in the Glovo Partners team, ensuring operational excellence and enhancing the partner experience.

THE JOURNEY

  • Analyze and optimize Partner Operations metrics specific to the Uganda market, driving continuous improvement in partner performance, including preparation times, order cancellations, and customer ratings.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our partners in Uganda, offering tailored guidance on improving and adapting their operations for optimal delivery performance in the region.
  • Coordinate and execute projects with global and regional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives while considering regional nuances and challenges.
  • Closely collaborate with the commercial team, especially with Account Managers and Key Account Managers, to assess them in individual performance improvement plans for their accounts
  • Advocate for product enhancements and tech feature improvements tailored to the Uganda market, providing proactive feedback to the regional team on local needs and opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the team, sharing knowledge and insights specific to African markets to drive collective growth and development.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 2-3 years of experience in fast-paced environments, preferably in startups, consulting firms, or internet companies
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, capable of making informed decisions and solving complex problems in African markets.
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality with a proactive approach to achieving objectives and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent project management abilities with the capacity to implement scalable solutions
  • Persuasive communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds in Africa.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment with a fast pace, adaptable to the unique challenges and opportunities of African markets.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with additional language skills relevant to African regions preferred.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Google Docs and MS Office
  • Proficiency in Excel required; other technical skills valued.

Individuals representing diverse profiles, and abilities, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas. Even if it seems you don’t meet our musts don’t let it stop you, we are all about finding the best talent out there! Skills can be learned, and embracing diversity is invaluable.

We believe driven talent deserves:

  • 💪 Private health insurance to keep you at your peak.
  • 🍔 Monthly Glovo credit to satisfy your cravings!
  • 🏖️ Extra time off, the freedom to work from home two days a week, and the opportunity to work from anywhere for up to three weeks a year!
  • 🧠 Online therapy and wellbeing benefits to ensure your mental well-being.
