Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies; or Business and Office Management; or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University/Institution.
Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience in Government or a reputable organization.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the for performing the following duties:-
– Drawing up and monitoring programmes, activities and appointments of the immediate supervisor;
– Taking dictation, transcribing and presenting accurate and error free work;
– Providing timely responses to inquiries and correspondences to the Office;
-Organizing meetings, taking minutes and conveying decisions of such meetings to the relevant Officers/offices;
-Drafting letters of routine nature;
-Requisitioning, managing and accounting for office imprest, stationery and equipment;
-Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the office;
-Managing office records following established security and records management procedures and guidelines;
– Managing performance of assigned support staff;
– Receiving and dispatching mail;
-Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
