We are seeking a dedicated teacher who will deliver Math & Physics lessons to high school students. Under the supervision of the School Principal, he/she will create lesson plans, deliver lessons (content), facilitate discussions, administer and grade assessments/tests and homework, and provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed. He/she will also deal with students from varying backgrounds, resolve in-class conflicts, and provide feedback to students and parents.
Entry Requirements
Education/Credentials
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education (In Physics & Math );
- A valid Teaching License from the Ministry of Education and Sports;
Experience
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Demonstrable experience in administering classroom management techniques;
- Classroom teaching experience of at least three (3) years;
- Demonstrated excellence in a variety of teaching techniques;

Roles (Duties & Responsibilities)
The ideal candidate will execute a variety of roles, including:
- To develop lesson plans in the relevant subject area and grade; ensuring all lessons align with the curriculum objectives.
- To utilize a range of teaching materials and methods to deliver lessons/content.
- To provide additional support and interventions for struggling students (one-on-one assistance to students as needed), and extra resources to those who are ahead of the class.
- To prepare students for tests, exams, presentations, experiments, and other assessments.
- To grade assessments and provide feedback and reports to students and parents.
- To periodically provide helpful recommendations and voice concerns, especially during staff and parent meetings.
- To supervise students in class, during events, and on field trips.
- To assist the School Principal in monitoring students’ overall wellbeing and liaise with the Counselors and other staff members when there are concerns or issues.
- To manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with the WOLIS Student Handbook; Emphasizing classroom rules and safety regulations and ensuring all students understand and follow them.
