Plant Foreperson x 1
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Planning and scheduling production
• Optimising the plant and operating at optimal levels
• Supervising of plant staff
• Meeting daily, weekly and monthly production throughput and output targets
• Maximising gold recoveries
• Formulating and monitoring compliance of Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensuring safety for plant and people
• Ensuring environmental compliance in tailings, effluent water and waste disposal
• Timeous ordering of all plant consumables and inputs
• Training and Development
• Reporting daily, weekly and monthly on production parameters including inputs, throughput, output and projections
• Budgeting for the department
Qualifications
• Diploma in Mineral Processing, or Extractive Metallurgy or Equivalent
• 5 O level passes
• 10 years working experience as a plant foreperson
• Hydrosluicing experience is an added advantage
