Watoto Church and Child Care Ministries has experienced exponential growth in the past couple of years composed of multiple Celebration Centers (Campuses) and diverse Community care initiatives that include Child Care, Community and Neighborhood, Education and FM Radio amongst others. In all of this, Watoto remains a local church, committed to celebrating Christ and caring for community.
We are seeking to recruit Primary School Teachers to impart knowledge and skills to the learners in the Watoto Schools.

Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)
• To plan, prepare and conduct lessons according to the set standards of Watoto schools. To conduct learners’ assessment and ensure well designed students’ assignments to facilitate the learning process.
• To create a conducive learning classroom environment that will facilitate coherent instructions delivery in the teaching process.
• To create a learning space where the needs of the learners and teachers are met, respected, and protected.
• To carry out the learner’s assessment and evaluation to monitor progress and cultivate a positive learning culture amongst the learners.
• To provide mentorship to the learners and conduct effective leadership sessions with the leaders in small groups.
• To conduct, implement and assess the learning experience of the learners with real life projects and
• To monitor the learner’s growth set goals and observe the learner’s academic progress with immediate actions to support accordingly.
• To guide and advise learners on educational and social matters to support the young people in making good career choices.
• To demonstrate good stewardship of resources and property in the school by ensuring the safe custody and optimum use of equipment assigned.
• To promote the general progress and well-being of individual learners and always ensure the safety and welfare of learners.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience.
• The applicant for the role should hold at least a Grade V Diploma in Education.
• At least two (2) years experience in teaching.
• Training in ACE curriculum will be an added advantage.
• Proven ability to provide holistic education to learners and promote evidence-based learning.
• Ability to contribute character, talent, and skills development in the learners.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. High degree of flexibility and initiative. Commitment to work within a team environment and abiF supervision.
