- Oversee process operations to achieve production targets and ensure safety and efficiency.
As Part Of Our Team You Will:
- Supervise daily processing operations to enhance workflow.
- Monitor and administer the processing plant operations to deliver optimal performance.
- Execute and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all operations adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Execute regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Assess and solve operational issues and bottlenecks.
- Assess process data to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and safety activities.
- Responsible for assessing relevant risks, executing mitigation measures, and continuously monitoring for risks.
- Responsible for ensuring maintenance notifications are raised for plant defects identified.
Your Training, Skills & Experience Checklist:
Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):
- Bachelors’ Degree in Extractive Metallurgy or Chemistry or equivalent.
Additional Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of mineral processing principles and industry standards.
- Advanced knowledge of processing plant equipment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 – 8 years’ experience in metalliferous mining, with a minimum of 4 – 5 years in gold processing operations.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience supervising large and diverse teams.
- Previous process operating experience, particularly crushing, SAG – Ball Mill Grinding, Leach / CIL / CIP, Elution, Reagents and Tails operation.
- Plant Commissioning experience is an advantage.
