The P2P Manager will be responsible for leading our procure-to-pay process with a strong emphasis on optimizing cash flow, treasury management (liquidity, investments, risk management strategies) and automation. This role will be crucial in ensuring financial stability, upgrading our systems and processes from purchase order to payment, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PROCURE-TO-PAY

Process Management:

Oversee the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, including purchase requisition, purchase order creation, invoice processing, and payment.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Cash & Treasury Management:

Monitor daily cash positions and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize working capital.

Automation and System Upgrades:

Lead initiatives to automate and upgrade the procure-to-pay process, including the implementation of e-procurement tools and electronic invoicing systems.

Work closely with IT and external vendors to ensure successful system integration and upgrades.

Risk Management:Identify and assess financial risks, including interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit risks.

Implement risk mitigation strategies.

Banking Relationships:

Maintain and develop relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure competitive rates and services.

Negotiate banking fees and services to optimize financial operations.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze treasury-related financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Supervise the team to execute assigned projects within deadlines and budget.
  • Develop and implement necessary measures to ensure flexible work practice and team building.
  • Carry out performance appraisals and development plans (including training) with subordinate staff.
  • Implement training and development program for staff in line with technical and business needs.
  • Coordinate the rotational schedule (on and off duty) of subordinate staff.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Treasury Manager or in a similar finance role, with a strong understanding of cash management, investment strategies, and risk management.
  • Proficient in treasury management systems and financial software (e.g., Sage X3, SAP, Oracle, Kyriba).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.
