Procurement Planning:
- Collaborate with program teams to develop and implement procurement plans in alignment with program goals and budgetary requirements
- Identify procurement needs and prepare procurement schedules.
2. Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions for contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
3. Contract Administration:
- Administer contracts for goods, services, and works, including the preparation of contracts, amendments, and extensions.
- Ensure contracts are in compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
4. Procurement Execution:
- Oversee and coordinate the procurement process, from supplier identification to contract award
- Ensure adherence to procurement laws, regulations, and internal policies.
5. Budget and Cost Control:
- Assist in managing procurement budgets and tracking expenditures.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure procurement is within budget limits.
6. Risk Management:
- Identify procurement-related risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with the Program Finance Manager to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
7. Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure the quality and timeliness of deliveries.
- Address and resolve any vendor performance issues.
8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including documentation of contracts and vendor communications.
Job Requirements:
Education : · Master’s degree in procurement, contracting, business or a related field.
Experience ” · 5+ years of experience in procurement and contract management, with a strong understanding of procurement regulations
