We are a registered Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO 125/23). Our activities occur primarily in the technical areas of health system strengthening; epidemiology and strategic information strengthening, health workforce development; operations research and evaluation; prevention, care, and treatment of infectious diseases.
Position:
We are looking for students studying towards the attainment of a Procurement-related Degree. The attachment is for a period of eleven months (November 2024 – September 2025)
Duties and Responsibilities
-Assist in the procurement of goods and services.
-Manage supplier relationships: Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and address any issues.
-Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers.
-Prepare and review procurement documents, including RFQ, Comparative bid analysis, requisitions, purchase orders and payment packages.
-Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
-Support supplier relationships and filing contracts and procurement packages.
-Provide support in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records.
-Preparing procurement tracker and complete payment packages.
-Timely circulating procurement payment packages for approvals
-Assist in the preparation of procurement reports for management.
-Perform any other duties as assigned by the department leadership team.
Qualifications and Experience
-At least 3 A-Level passes are the minimum requirement for the position.
-Currently studying towards a supply chain or procurement-related degree.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
