QUALIFICATIONS
- An Honours Degree in Communication/Journalism/Media Studies with at least a 2.1 class.
- At least one-year working experience in a broadcasting set-up
- Proficiency in Ndebele language will be an added advantage.
- At least one-year working experience at an institution of higher learning will be an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate must be capable of producing content of the station. Duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Researching for shows/bulletins through gathering information.
- Investigating trending topics to be dissected on air.
- Writing scripts for English and Indigenous Languages news bulletins, programmes adverts and promotions.
- Doing live studio and outside broadcast productions.
- Edit pre-recorded programmes.
- Doing voice-overs for news, programmes adverts and promotions.
- Making sure that guests/sources are booked.
- Promoting events and outside broadcasts for the station.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
