Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Product Managers to create business and pricing plans that contribute to profit and growth.
- Administration of Huawei Equipment such as HSS, PCRF, UGW, WASN etc.
- Handling of Usage / Billing disputes.
- Providing support, training and ensuring that each reported problem is resolved in a timely manner, tracked according to standards and escalate as appropriate.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of new applications and emerging technologies into the production environment.
- To provide solutions to business problems by recommending new processes and/or improving existing processes.
- Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools. Developing and contributing to documentation for new and existing systems in line with recognized standards.
- Responsible for planning and execution of tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
- Updates job knowledge by researching new internet/intranet technologies and software products, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Perform design, development and management of new, existing or acquisition products.
- Assist in the deployment of new products.
- Work with product design team to understand product feasibility and limitations.
- Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that delivered system is properly tested and meets the product requirements.
- Expected to proactively identify areas of improvements, drive projects, build user relationships and successfully implement changes in the environment from standard administrative actions to full scale deployments.
- Facilitate changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performance.
- To carry out other tasks as may be assigned by the IT and Billing HOD.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and Database Knowledge (Advantage)
- Knowledge of System / Database Administration, Cdrs, Xdrs, LTE Communication Technology (Advantage)
- Customer Management.
- Qualifications
- The job holder must have a Bachelor’s Degree 2nd Class Honors (Upper division) in Computer Science or any other Engineering related field. A minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience on a similar job function. A Telecoms experience will be an added advantage.
