Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities in the publishing and contract printing industry.
- Develop strategies to target educational publishers, independent authors, and organizations requiring high-volume printing for textbooks, notebooks, and other educational materials.
- Explore opportunities in newspaper and newsletter printing for corporate and institutional clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with publishers, educational institutions, and corporate clients.
- Negotiate and secure long-term contracts for high-volume printing projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met, including quality, timelines, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s presence in the contract printing market, focusing on hardcovers, paperbacks, and specialty printing.
- Identify and target new geographic markets for publishing-related printing services.
- Oversee the rollout of new printing projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company capabilities.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of printed materials.
- Achieve revenue targets by securing new contracts and expanding existing client relationships.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the publishing and contract printing industry.
- Collaborate with the innovation team to develop new printing solutions tailored to the publishing industry, such as eco-friendly printing or customizable notebooks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, including digital printing technologies, to offer cutting-edge solutions to clients
Qualifications, Experience & skills
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field will be an added advantage.
Professional Qualifications
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Sales, or Business Development are preferred. Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., Printing Industries Association) is a plus.
Experience
- Six (6) Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
