Production Machine Operator
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the production lines operates efficiently and safely, producing high-quality products in line with Good Manufacturing Practice, Health & safety using appropriate techniques and equipment, adherence to departmental written procedures and completion of necessary documentation.
Main Activities/Tasks
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety policies.
- Operating and maintenance of production equipment in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures including automated equipment and computerized system for filling, capping and packing machines.
- Manufacturing high quality products using approved processes within a manufacturing-controlled environment.
- Comply with all aspects of the Quality Management System.
- Completion of all documentation associated with the operation and manufacturing of a product in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (Production control records and logbooks.
- Ensuring work areas are always audit ready.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for Career Success
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of two years’ experience operating a production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work in various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
