Key Deliverables

• Production Planning & Execution
  • • Planning to deliver the sales demand ensuring effective utilization of assets at optimum cost of operations
    • Liaison with central and local procurement for effective planning of raw and packing materials ensuring availability as well as monitoring inventory norms
    • Analyze breakdowns and put corrective measures to improve OEE
    • Lead the AM Pillar team in WCM/Operational Excellence and support other pillars on production related requirements
    • Control over warehouses for raw & packing materials and finished goods
    • Ensure compliance to Safety and Food Safety requirements from manufacturing function
    • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements
    • Review and monitor operating budgets

• Managing Talent
  • • Develop and train the team to improve the effectiveness of implementation of best/ next practices in the area of work.
    • Identify training needs of team members in order to enhance skills and develop/maintain a motivated team.
• Driving cost culture and value delivery
  • • Review requirements of production consumables and ensure availability
    • Review cost of production consumables and ensure adherence to budgets
• Projects
  • • Selection of Capacity, Capability, Appropriate Technology, Energy requirements etc for Opex and Capex Projects along with Engineering team as and when required
    • Execute implementation of projects within timelines and cost with support of Engineering Team
    • Assist in commissioning and start-up of new projects

Strategic Effectiveness

Requirements

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering from a reputed institute
• 10+ years of experience in FMCG companies of repute preferably bottling/aseptic dairy products with a minimum of 3 years of experience as Head of Manufacturing/Production department
• Experience of managing high speed PET bottling lines and Tetrapak lines
• A hands-on experience of implementing TPM or WCM/Operational Excellence is a must. Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma would be an added advantage.
• Experience of managing production function of a bottling plant, preferably aseptic dairy technology with Tetrapak and Sidel bottling lines
• Strong people management skills
