Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
- 1-year minimum experience working in analytics or planning, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Detailed knowledge of the Production Activities
- Excellent organization and Problem-solving skills
- Intermediate – Advanced Excel
- Intermediate PowerBi
Job role
- Creates monthly production plans.
- Weekly monitoring of the stock pipeline to ensure a healthy supply of stock, flagging risks to the production planning manager.
- Responsible for production performance analysis and reporting.
- Work closely with the production planning manager to keep stakeholders updated about production plan progress and risks observed.
- Proactively monitors and analyses daily planned vs actual results and flag deviations observed to the production planning manager.
- Performs root cause analysis on observed deviations in results and reporting findings to the production planning manager.
- Adapts and adjusts the planning system to be more in line with reality and ensure improvement over time.
- Prepares weekly and monthly S&OP reports using PowerBi, Excel and Aqua manager data.
- Monitors stock levels and buildup against velocity and ensure effective adjustments on either end to ensure better efficiency.
- Monitors ageing of stock daily, and flag potential risks ahead of time.
- Monitors Broodstock generation tracing, monitoring results weekly and reporting on performance.
- Creates and maintaining excel and PowerBi tools for monitoring of key production metrics.
- Assists in preparation for the weekly production meeting, completing slides and vetting the numbers from other departments to limit time wastage.
