Qualification and Experience:
- A PhD in Education or related area.
- A Master’s Degree in Practical Arts/Music Education/Dance and Drama in Education/ Expressive Arts/Creative Arts Education.
- Experience in teaching at Higher Education will be an added advantage.
Duties:
- To teach courses in Practical Arts and Primary Education at Postgraduate and Undergraduate levels;
- To supervise and mentor Postgraduate and Undergraduate students, guiding them in their theses/ research projects and facilitating their academic growth;
- To conduct research in the discipline and collaborate with Colleagues to contribute to interdisciplinary research projects and initiatives;
- To undertake Administrative duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department;
- To undertake Consultancy Assignments; and
- To engage in Community Outreach activities.
