Save for Health Uganda (SHU) is a reputable indigenous non-profit NGO formed in 2002 with a mission to improve the quality of health of Ugandans through Community Health Financing approaches. SHU currently operates in the Districts of Luwero, Nakaseke, Nakasongola, Iganga, Mayuge, Bugweri, Mityana, Kassanda, Masaka, Bushenyi, Mitooma and Sheema where it is implementing a community health insurance programme. SHU has recently secured a three year project and wishes to add to its team a qualified and hard working person to fill the available vacancy at its head office located in Nansana Municipality. Wakiso District.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the implementation of activities, including simple tasks and larger plans, and support the team to ensure the project meets the defined quality standards and is completed on time.
Work experience:
• Applicants must have at least two years practical work experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or a similar role. S/he must have hands-on experience with flowcharts, documentation and work schedules.
• S/he should know how to use at least one project management software, should possess good communication, good collaboration and time-management skills.
• Possession of vehicle driving skills with a valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields.
