Alinea is currently accepting applications for a talent pool of experienced Project Coordinators for upcoming long-term positions in international development operations administration, and logistics within Ghana. Applicants must be fluent in English and based in Ghana with the legal authorization to live and work in the country.

Language Proficiency:

Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate degree, Master in a relevant field such as business/public administration, project management, international development, social sciences, or a related discipline.

Minimum Experience:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience (preferred) supporting international development projects valued at $5,000,000 CAD or more in Project Coordinator capacities.
  • Experience working with international development stakeholders, including civil society organizations, private sector entities, multilateral organizations, donors (such as Global Affairs Canada, GAC, USAID, FCDO, UKaid), and local/national governments.
  • Proven experience in coordinating project activities, including scheduling, organizing, and ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the preparation and management of project work plans, budgets, and reports.
  • Experience managing logistics and administrative services related to project execution.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and reporting on project progress, ensuring that all activities are carried out according to the established timelines and budgets.
  • Previous experience in coordinating procurement processes and managing resources for projects valued at $5,000,000 CAD or more.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination and implementation of project activities, ensuring compliance with work plans and schedules.
  • Organize and monitor the timely completion of project tasks and milestones.
  • Assist in the preparation of key project documents, including work plans, budgets, financial reports, and progress updates.
  • Ensure proper management of logistics, including coordinating the delivery of goods and services required for the project.
  • Support project teams in coordinating activities with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, and local partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities and assist in tracking project expenses against the approved budget.
  • Help manage procurement processes for goods and services, including engaging local experts as needed.
  • Support the development and maintenance of effective project communication channels with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of project reports in a timely manner.
  • Ensure effective internal coordination and support between project teams to resolve any issues that may arise.
