- Work with stakeholders on the implementation of workforce nutrition pillars (healthy food at work, nutrition education, health checks and breastfeeding support) among organizations and the launch of the Nigeria Workforce Nutrition Alliance.
- Managing the project schedule, activity plan and planning milestones, supporting the tracking of progress and deliverables from project partners and implementing countries
- Coordinating and scheduling project review meetings at regular cycles and preparing documentation of findings and recommendations in the Project Management Tool.
- Facilitate implementation of project activities in compliance with the policies and best practice standards of GAIN.
- Produce detailed reports for stakeholders, summarizing progress, achievements, and insights.
About you
The ideal candidate should have experience in coordination of project activities and ability to influence formulation and implementation of workforce nutrition activities. Experience working with actors in different value chains such as rice and maize to promote consumption of nutritious foods at the workplace and beyond. You should have demonstrable experience advocating and engaging with business managers, and government officials on the importance of workforce nutrition for both workers and farmers.
You should be able to coordinate the day-to-day operational delivery, implementation, and monitoring of the project, specifically focusing on tracking the progress and status of project activities. An education with a bachelor’s degree in human nutrition, Public Health, sustainable development, development studies.
