Job description:

  • The Role will focus on Projects for the ERP team, delivering software and change, training and improvements to the key business customers efficiently and effectively
  • To Coordinate people, processes and tasks in the business to ensure projects are delivered on time and per scope
  • To follow up and manage schedule planned tasks ahead ensuring resources are aligned to the project needs
  • Manage issues and mitigate risks
  • Communications updates with the teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating internal and external resources to ensure project execution and tasks are on-time and managed for the ERP Prioritised projects
  • Ensure project and tasks are on time, within budget and scope
  • Defining and managing a detail project plan to track, manage to keep projects on track
  • Ensuring tasks and resources are adequately planned and allocated
  • Change management updates, communication of
  • Risks and Issues register management
  • Escalation management
  • Preparation of Project Updates and scheduled updates with Sponsors and owners and management as required
  • Project documentation upkeep and management of to comply with Audit and best practices
  • Other Projects and tasks as needed
  • Liaise with Helpdesk lead, subject matter experts and Analysts for planning activity constraints

Qualifications

Minimal requirements:

  • Grade 12 Senior certificate or equivalent
  • Financial background preferred
  • Project management PRINCE2, APM or PMI
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with ERP systems

Experience

  • Sound business knowledge
  • Existing Project management
  • Proficient with Project management tools
  • Proven work experience as PM in technology, mining or business sector
  • Strong MS office knowledge and skills
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and management of
  • Solid organisational skills, attentive to detail and multi tasking ability
