KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Undertake day-to-day management of the project, working within defined project constraints of Quality, Budget, Scope, and Time.
- Plan team tasks, and monitor and review outputs within set timelines.
- Create and update all relevant project documents as required by the Project Management Office.
- Manage the allocated projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, quality within budget and meet the objectives set.
- Report project status to the project board, relevant Management committees, Programme Manager, and other key stakeholders.
- Review project activities for compliance with procedures and standards.
- Provide the respective project resources with the correct toolsets and processes, and train and equip them to deliver their projects successfully.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- A Bachelors Degree in Project Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Business Statistics or another related field.
- Certification or Training in Agile Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2 or Scaled Agile methodology are preferred).
- Lean Six Sigma Certification or Training is an added advantage.
- At least one to two years experience as a Project Manager in a banking environment or Fintech.
- Proficient with spreadsheet software and project management software (JIRA, MS Project Office etc.,).3-5 years relevant work experience at a large financial services institution.
- Detail-oriented and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
- Adept at Financial Technology.
- Must exhibit enthusiasm and the ability to influence stakeholders.
