Job description

We are seeking an exceptionally organized and detail-oriented individual for the role of assistant project manager. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Liaising with stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals.
  • Playing a vital role in the planning, development, and coordination of projects.
  • Performing routine administrative tasks such as invoice preparation, estimate provision, and meeting scheduling.
  • Maintaining consistent reporting on project progress.
  • Timely and efficient completion of tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
  • Managing project life cycles to ensure the timely delivery of projects with established budgets and quality standards.
  • Engaging stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Building project scope statements, developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and creating project plans grounded in relevant methodologies.
  • Applying principles of quality management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively tracking project progress to monitor risks and identify potential issues.

    REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in business management or a related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years experience in project management or a similar role in the tech industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
