The Project Manager is responsible for implementing and managing specific projects within community-based programs and research according to grant work plan and timeline. Specifically, the Project Manager is responsible for managing timelines and ensuring the quality and accuracy of deliverables. They will maintain regular and effective communication among professional and community partners, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure that the goals and objectives of grants are met. Some travel required (up to 10%).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages implementation of grant activities according to work-plan and project time-line, ensuring quality and accuracy of deliverables. This includes but is not limited to supervising CHWs in CHW activities. 50%
• Manages relationships and team efforts to ensure delivery of programs in the community. Manages community stakeholder, contractor, and other partner relationships. Organizes and facilitates meeting with team members and stakeholders. 25%
• Responsible for reporting project progress. 15 %
• May perform other duties as assigned including the performance of tasks that facilitate the development and delivery of culturally responsive services and resources (such as translation of materials if within candidate’s skillset) to effectively serve our diverse populations. 10 %

- CHW Certification
- A valid driver’s license is required with current automobile insurance and a reliable car for moderate travel to UAMS in Little Rock, AR, and surrounding communities (mileage reimbursed at the current state mileage reimbursement rate) if a state vehicle is not available.
- Occasional out-of-state travel.
- Bilingual or multilingual is preferred: English/Spanish or English/Marshallese. English and Spanish and/or Marshallese – oral and written.
