Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction, Engineering, or Project Management
  • PMP or CAPM certification

Experience Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a Project Management position in the construction or engineering field
  • A solid understanding of the construction process, industry standards, and requirements, including Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations
  • Knowledge of contracts used in construction (e.g., JBCC, FIDIC)

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Create and execute comprehensive project plans that detail milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs. Your strategic planning will set the stage for project success
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders. Address their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage resources, including personnel, budgets, and materials
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
  • Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of project plans, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget to drive project delivery
  • Project Monitoring: Continuously track project progress using key performance indicators (KPIs). Your insights will guide adjustments and ensure projects meet or exceed expectations
  • Performance Evaluation: Assess both the project team and project performance, making necessary adjustments to optimise outcomes and achieve project objectives
  • Project Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication within the project team and with stakeholders

Skills

  • Strong organisational and planning skills with acute attention to detail
  • Able to meet strict deadlines whilst mitigating any project risks and adhering to project budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: team leader!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management tools
  • Valid Code BE Driver’s License
