The department and its departments are responsible for promoting projects and programs within the framework of financial and personnel support, providing technical advice to local partner organizations and regionally-specific lobbying and advocacy work. The area of responsibility includes:
- Ensuring the approval process and independent processing of the assigned projects, from sponsor review, application, support to project completion with financial processing and project-related partner dialogue
- Appropriate use of methods, instruments and qualifications in the partner countries in consultation with the responsible speaker
- Support for the responsible regional officer in their tasks of program planning and implementation, in lobbying and advocacy activities and in public relations
- Business trips and organization of partner visits as well as general administrative tasks
You meet the following requirements:
- University degree or comparable qualification in relevant subject
- At least two years of professional experience and international experience with good business knowledge, basic development policy knowledge and gender competence
- Very good language skills in English and another relevant lingua franca, preferably French
- Ability to work constructively in a team, resilience, willingness to learn, thoroughness and flexibility
- Ability to self-reflect in the context of injustice and social development, as well as reflecting Christian values in daily actions
