- Support the day-to-day management of project activities including timely implementation of project activities;
- Preparation of project work plans and monitoring plans and support their implementation
- Contribute in oversighting the work of project-related consultants; including preparations of ToR and contracting
- Communications and coordination with HD’s local implementing partners, including providing operational support and guidance
- Co-ordinating project meetings, including the conceptualisation and formulation of meeting agendas as well as the drafting of meeting reports and mission notes;
Financial management:
all financial aspects of the projects including budgets under the supervision of the PM;
Ensure oversight of the budget including financial monitoring of local implementing partners,
Production of financial reporting, including review of financial reports by local implementing partners
Qualifications: The successful candidate should have:
- More than 5 years of work experience in project management
- Post-graduate study or equivalent in conflict resolution, international relations, international humanitarian law, gender, peace and security or other related fields;
- Experience with a regional or international organization preferably in conflict resolution or in a similar function in Ethiopia and the region
- Excellent oral and written skills (English required, local language in Ethiopia an asset);
- Capacity to work autonomously and deliver timely results
- Legal work status in Ethiopia
