Responsibilities
The consultants will carry out the following tasks working with the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists at SITES:
• Conduct root cause analysis/short studies to inform learning and program implementation at USAID SITES
• Provide clinical expertise in conducting health facility assessments like data quality assessments, G2G verifications of milestones, Site Improvement through Monitoring Systems(SIMS) among others.
• Conduct desk review of project documents and reports to develop well synthesized presentations and technical briefs.
• Conduct onsite mentorships/trainings in improving data management practices in USAID supported districts.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a medical field preferably in a clinical discipline with a master’s in public health.
• Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of working experience in Public Health programming with PEPFAR or USAID funded programs.
• Experience in conducting Rapid assessments/short studies.
• Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
