Principal Responsibilities
- The Public Relations Coordinator, using FH’s branding and publicity policy; create, build, and maintain FHE’s image in country and increase FHE’s acceptability as good partner among government, partners, and donors.
- Following FH’s “Branding Policy”, standardize and maintain all FH’ brands all over the country, in terms of logo usage, roadside sign posts, building’s painting, placards, banners, t-shirt printing, and all other promotional materials productions.
- Organize public and private media coverage in collaboration with program directors and project managers for all new projects agreements, inaugurations physical activities and phasing out of projects
- Media monitoring and prepare necessary corrections and explanations that arises from the media in relation to FHE’s activities
- Prepare Expo and represent FHE whenever necessary
- Take quality pictures, videos and success stories for marketing and periodical reports purpose.
- Edit periodical program reports before it is sent to the HO and donors
- Participate different meetings by representing the organization at Region level and communicate the meetings to the concerned unites and projects

- Quality and number of documentary videos, stories and photographs for social media and marketing
- Quality, timely and number of messages prepared for appropriate mainstream and social medias

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, working area language (Amharic) and other local languages

- Sensitivity to different aspects of diversity (cultural, religious, disability), firm belief in teamwork.
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills
- Graphic design, photography and videography skills are mandatory

Education and Experience
- Minimum of bachelor degree in Journalism, Communications, Political Science and International Relation, and social science fields, or in any other relevant fields. MA/ MSc Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of six years’ experience in NGO’s marketing, communications, policy advocacy, public relations, knowledge management. Out of which a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position.
Supervisory Responsibility : The position has no supervisory responsibility.
Language : He /she should be Proficiency in both spoken and written English. Ability to write reports and business correspondence
