Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic procurement team. This role involves managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient delivery of materials to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will contribute to improving our procurement processes while aligning with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue purchase orders and manage contract signings.

  • Follow up on reconciliations and payment requests.

  • Handle materials with quality abnormalities.

  • Monitor procurement plans and resolve delivery issues.

  • Coordinate with teams to optimize order delivery timelines.

  • Address anomalies arising during the purchasing process.

  • Organize and archive supplier documents, including contracts.

  • Maintain and foster strong supplier relationships.

  • Actively support other departments by responding promptly to procurement needs.

  • Provide timely feedback on identified issues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (Ghanaian university graduates preferred).

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing industry procurement.

  • Familiarity with procurement processes and material production techniques.

  • Ability to manage independent procurement tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in office software and ERP systems.

  • High attention to detail, strong responsibility, and quick thinking.

  • Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills.

  • Strong professional ethics and ability to handle work pressure.
