Driving the delivery of QRA processes in the region aligned to the strategic business agenda:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective establishment, implementation, application and continuous improvement of QRA initiatives, agenda, principles and requirements in alignment and compliance with Global QRA strategy and Regional QRA initiatives.
  • Manage the delivery of Central QRA responsibilities in the given area of responsibility (Region, or focused on a Cluster, Country or Sector).
  • Manage Service Quality Initiatives – monitoring the Service Quality KPIs, investigation of root cause analysis & support the operations with correcting actions to ensure high service quality
  • Support OMS FC Implementations to increase the level of service quality, Start Up project support, Conduct Site audit processes.
  • Delivery of Quality related training (Root cause analysis, problem solving, etc.), Review of Self-Assessment & CAPA management, External / Customer audit support & liaison.
  • Guide Regulatory & Licensing activity, including Trade Compliance (implementation of SOPs, Ops Controls, Training)
  • Support Regional Leadership in QRA support for opportunity pursuit.
  • Ensure the Quality of the operating process and the certifications required legally, by clients or at the corporate level.
  • Delivery of Ops related Trainings
  • Act as a Country or Sector Business Partner with the OE teams to ensure that Site Managed QRA is successfully executed and that effective standards (e.g. DHL QMS, ISO 9001 where applicable, etc.) are delivered.
  • Operational experience of the Supply Chain or similar process industry (eg Manufacturing, activity involving shopfloor labour processes)
  • Communication & Engagement:  Communicates site, company, and other pertinent information to team.  Shares customer and DHL Supply Chain information accordingly.

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in science and Environment Management, bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering    or any other related Course

•  At least 5 years of management/supervisory responsibility experience.

•  Experience in leading non-specialists in technical and regulatory applications

•  Credible with Operations staff in Gemba and Coaching activity

•  Experience and working knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and methodology

•Certified Quality  Auditor

•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good facilitation skills

•Leadership and influencing skills

•  Good presentation and project management skills

•  Interpersonal skills with the ability to express an opposing view effectively and diplomatically

•  Ability to enter and manipulate data to generate reports in a timely manner

•  Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing using applications such as Microsoft Office for tracking, analyzing, and communicating related data

•  Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations

•  Ability to be flexible and work effectively (deliver results) with a practical outlook within a dynamic matrix organization with minimal supervision
