Coca-Cola Beverages Africa requires the services of a Quality Assurance Technologist. The Quality Assurance Technologist will be responsible for supervision of the Quality team to ensure products are produced in line with ISO 9001:2015 and FSSC 22000 V5.1 and KORE requirements.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure the team in the laboratory performs all required tests to guarantee quality and food safety products as per set requirements.
• Coordinate and manage calibration program.
• Coordinate and manage sensory program.
• Control non-conforming products and incoming raw materials.
• Monitor product Quality.
• Ensure that all processes to produce products are carried out based on SHEQ risk assessment. •Ensure Good Laboratory Practices are implemented in the Laboratory.
• Coach and develop the team.
| REQUIREMENTS |
Honours degree in Food Technology or Microbiology
• Diploma in Food Technology or Chemistry, Biology
• Minimum 2 years in food processing plant
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role
• Ability to coordinate and drive results through people
• Problem Solving & Analysis
• Ability to work autonomously
• Team player
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
