Specific goals

  • Document the key discussions, decisions, and outcomes of the workshop, including plenary sessions, group discussions, and breakout activities.
  • Analyse and synthesize information gathered from various sources to identify emerging themes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the creation of a high-quality learning paper, a set of actionable learning questions, and a revised theory of change.
  • Support the dissemination of workshop findings and recommendations among partners and stakeholders.
  • Workshop Documentation: Comprehensive recording and/or transcription of plenary sessions, group discussions, and breakout activities.
  • Data Analysis and Synthesis: Analysis of collected data to identify key themes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Report Writing: Development of a learning paper outlining workshop findings and recommendations.
  • Output Development: Contribution to the development of learning questions and a revised theory of change.
  • Anticipated results and indicators to facilitate acceptance and validation of final outcomes
  • A learning paper, learning questions, revised/updated theory of change

CONSULTANT’S PROFILE

  • Training, experience, references and grade required for each expert
  • Proven experience in report writing and documentation: Should be able to demonstrate with evidence ability to produce clear, concise, and informative reports within tight deadlines.
  • Data analysis and synthesis skills: Capacity to analyse qualitative data to extract key findings and insights.
  • Knowledge of humanitarian principles and refugee contexts: should be able to demonstrate understanding of the challenges faced by refugees and the role of humanitarian organizations and translate the implementation of such in the theory of change.
  • Experience in participatory methodologies: Should demonstrate familiarity with co-creation workshops and other participatory approaches.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: should demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Academic qualifications;

  • Bachelors degree in Sociology, education, anthropology, political science or development studies.
  • A post graduate degree in a related field would be an advantage especially if it involves research, data management or report writing
