Core Responsibilities
- Maintain overall responsibility for planning, implementation, documenting, and reporting of all provincial office project activities in coordination with provincial staff.
- Ensure the timely implementation of work plan activities and liquidation of funds.
- Oversee capacity building activities throughout the Northern Region.
- Oversee effective coordination with other regional teams and project senior management.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate reports.
- Maintain effective relations with all stakeholders at the regional level.
- Review district program budgets and coordinate their inclusion in the central finance platform.
- Coordinate programmatic and administrative activities for complex, rapidly changing health system strengthening activities throughout one of the 4 target regions.
- Lead the process for creating, monitoring and revising the annual provincial work plan.
- Provide inputs to facilitate the development of annual and strategic plans to achieve both the national and regional project visions and purposes.
What We Value
- Master’s degree in a related field and 6-8 years of experience.
- 5 or more years of high level program oversight and management.
- Experience implementing donor-funded projects in Sub-Saharan Africa specifically in Ghana, experience with USAID projects is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in coordination, planning, and leading programs with International NGOs is desired.
- Excellent presentation and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal, and team building skills.
- Experience in the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of projects.
- Solid computer skills in MS-Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
