Job Accountabilities:
- Support the design, delivery and monitoring of technical assistance in assigned region to towards strengthening CSO, and community structures’ ability to design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based SBC, in SBC leadership and coordination, and around related areas such as research and M&E, organization development, project platforms and materials, and on focal health SBC areas.
- Oversee the adaptation of strategies, coordinate, and support the delivery of regional capacity strengthening-related activities in diverse areas of SBC and institutional development
- Oversee, ensure quality, and manage work of the Regional SBC Capacity Strengthening Officer (partner staff)
- Work closely with selected local implementing partners to ensure adequate technical capacity is strengthened in various programmatic areas, particularly SBC and health, in collaboration with other technical teams.
- Represent the project on relevant working groups.
- Minimum Requirement:
Education:
- Master’s degree or its international equivalent in organizational development, social and behavioral change, public health or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 4+ years of experience in public health, including at least five years of experience in working on capacity strengthening programs and/or SBC.
Language Requirements
- Candidate must have full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English, and the regional local language.
