. Key Duties & Job Responsibilities
• Patient care. Monitor, assess, and document patients’ conditions.
• Infection control and safety. Follow protocols for infection prevention and control.
• Antenatal Care. Conduct regular check-ups for pregnant women,
• Labor and Delivery. Assist and support women through labor and childbirth, monitor the condition of mother and baby during delivery.
• Emergency Care. Recognize and manage obstetric emergencies (e.g., postpartum hemorrhage, eclampsia), Initiate emergency interventions and ensure timely referral.
Qualifications:
• Must have a degree and a diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a reputable institute.
• Must be registered with a valid practicing license from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council. Years of Experience:
• Must be registered with a valid practicing license from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council. Skills:
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Diligent attention to details
