Today’s farmers face many challenges. Governments, organizations and customers force farmers to reduce chemical residues on crops and improve pest control. This is in an environment where pests are getting more resistant to chemicals and a worldwide concern for the impact of chemicals on bees is growing. Kenya Biologics Ltd

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage regulatory affairs processes with PCPB and KEPHIS to ensure compliance with local regulations and guidelines
  • Develop trial protocols for research and commercial purposes, coordinating closely with internal teams and external partners or farms.
  • Conduct follow-up activities for field trials, documenting results and preparing reports.
  • Utilize field trial experience on Bio stimulant and Biocontrol technologies to perform trainings on agricultural practices and IPM.
  • Attend networking events, representing the company, and building relationships within the industry.
  • Identify opportunities for tenders and grants from NGO and government bodies relevant to our industry.
  • Prepare proposals and submissions for tenders and grants, ensuring all requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to support PR initiatives and maintain positive public perception.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in regulatory affairs, ideally within the agricultural or chemical industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field, MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in regulatory affairs, ideally within the agricultural or chemical industries.
  • Strong knowledge of PCPB and KEPHIS regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in technical writing and proposal development.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A candidate with entomology skills or certification in pest identification would be a plus.
