Key accountabilities:
• Support development of centre of excellence (COE) for the brand and marketing disciplines in RB.
• Support the development of and lead the implementation of a comprehensive business unit marketing strategy that reflects the portfolio’s business goals and values across relevant B2B or B2C marketing disciplines.
• Manage the implementation of the bank’s corporate identity, including brand guidelines, messaging, visual identity and digital content.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams, to ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
• Work with the business units, advise and influence on the most appropriate customer value propositions to accentuate the brand credentials.
• Develop, advise and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with the bank’s business goals and target key audiences.
• Support operationalisation of Digital Marketing campaigns within RB for a specific business unit. Develop regional marketing strategies that are tailored to local market needs and aligned with the bank’s overall brand and marketing objectives.
• Identify and manage sponsorships that align with the bank’s brand and marketing objectives and deliver a measurable return on investment (ROI).
• Manage campaign development and execution, including creative development, media planning and dynamic performance tracking.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of brand and marketing initiatives and provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management.
• Manage business unit marketing budgets through efficient and effective resource allocation to maximise ROI Manage cross functional project teams and interagency professionals to ensure successful execution of brand and marketing initiatives.
• Be responsible for the generation of insights, through research and other means to inform business, brand and marketing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and manage risk and control environment to required standard.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
