  • Aid in the development and integration of low-voltage vehicle electrical and electronic systems and architectures.
  • Support engineers in firmware development, debugging, and testing for embedded systems within vehicle control units (ECUs).

1.2. Shop Floor Installation & Integration

  • Participate in the installation and integration of powertrain components (motors, transmissions, axles) and EE systems (wiring harnesses, sensors, communication networks) on the production line.
  • Execute preliminary functionality and diagnostic tests using specified software and tools to verify correct operation and identify faults.
  • Ensure that all work is completed meticulously according to engineering drawings and work instructions, upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

1.3. Deployment Environment Studies & Research

  • Conduct targeted studies and research on vehicle and charging system performance within the deployment environment, focusing on real-world user challenges, pain points, and needs.
  • Utilize Design Thinking models to systematically document user problems and generate innovative solutions for the E-Bus Xpress Charging Network, charging systems, and vehicle-specific issues.
  • Analyze data from deployed vehicles and charging infrastructure to inform the development of Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric (CASE) vehicle technology, ensuring our innovations are practical and market-relevant.

1.4. Design, Engineering, and Test Documentation

  • Support in the creation of comprehensive design, engineering, and test documentation in line with industry standards such as IEEE (e.g., Systems Design) and ISO (e.g., ISO 26262 for Functional Safety).
  • Assist in the maintenance of an updated library of technical drawings, specifications, and schematics for all powertrain and EE systems, ensuring version control and easy accessibility for the team.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and detailed engineering logs, technical drawings, and test reports.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports that clearly document user problems, proposed solutions, and the rationale behind engineering decisions.
  • Ensure a complete and verifiable record of work performed, adhering to established technical and quality standards

1.5. Any Other Duties Assigned: Responsibility assigned by the Supervisor vital to Supporting Vision Execution, Enhancing Organizational Excellence and Fostering Cross-Functional collaboration.
