Adara Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (RMEL) Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the research and evaluation processes that inform and enhance our programs in maternal, newborn, and child health in Uganda. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our interventions are data-driven and impactful, contributing to Adara’s mission of providing quality health, education, and essential services to vulnerable communities.
Job requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Science, Research or a related field
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, reporting, and presenting
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Experience with research and data analysis software (e.g. SPSS, REDCap, NVivo, PowerBI, Stata, R)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in field locations
- Passion for maternal, newborn and child health and community development
Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks for projects
- Conduct data collection and analysis to assess program effectiveness
- Prepare and present detailed reports on research findings to stakeholders
- Utilise qualitative and quantitative methodologies to gather and interpret data
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve program strategies and outcomes
- Collaborate with program teams to integrate learning into project design and implementation
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the research process
- Facilitate capacity building and training sessions for staff on RMEL practices
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in RMEL within the development sector
