Role and Responsibilities:
To support the countries in catch up and recovery and strengthening routine immunization systems
- Support missions with co-creation and the development of plans as part of USG Interagency for catch up and recovery and immunization systems strengthening. Including consultations with host government, Gavi, WHO, UNICEF, CDC and other partners in collaboration with USAID/Washington
- Provide technical expertise and advisement to ensure best practices and innovations are rapidly integrated into plans and aligned with the National catch-up plan
- Provide technical assistance in high quality rollout of immunization recovery, reaching un- and under immunized children
- Participate in technical working groups and ensure engagement and information flow with USAID POCs and mentor USAID personnel
- Effectively coordinate, organize and document with the USG interagency progress review and pause and reflect sessions as part of Interagency
Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology or related field
- At least five years of experience with immunization program design, development, roll-out and strengthening
- Country-based experience in Nigeria, the DRC or Mozambique preferred
- Strong technical skills in immunization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong written and verbal French or Portuguese for DRC and Mozambique positions
- Experience with USAID program implementation a plus

(IBTCI), is the prime contractor implementing the $125 million USAID-funded Global Health Technical Assistance and Mission Support Project (GH-TAMS) activity.
